Valentine's Day...Fishing...And Trip

We did a unit study for school about snow rollers and did all kinds of fun "snowy" things. We didn't actually get much snow this winter, so I guess we made up for it this way!:o) Here we were making...

We also made cute little snowmen out of styrofoam balls, sticks, buttons, etc.

And what a catch!!!

It ended up being around 50 lbs. of meat so we invited a bunch of friends over and had a big fish fry--yum! And still put some in the freezer!

And helped Chad's friend Matthew build a new shop/barn

Hello 2012!

Yes, thank the Lord, we're still here, believe it or not! Lots of water's gone under the bridge and I'm not even going to try to catch up...it would take too long- so I'll just jump back in where we're at with pictures from this year.

Life is full and God is good!

Our sweet baby, Aliyah...how time flies when you're having fun---and she is so much fun!



By now she is crawling and sporting two new little teeth!

Today was so beautiful, we just had to spend some of it outside! Jensy & Aliyah in the the cool pickup Jensy got for his last birthday--he's becoming a pretty good driver!;o)

Our new baby arrived at 1:04 early on the morning of Friday, May 13th, 2011!
We couldn't be happier with our sweet new bundle...what a precious blessing straight from the loving heart of God...it overwhelms me with humble gratefulness to Him!

Our great midwife, Brenda...
She's been with us through thick and thin for nearly the past ten years; the last five pregnancies. We're blessed to have her as a friend and midwife!

After our nice herbal bath. Auntie Ness was here for the birth too...it would seem strange to have a baby without Auntie Ness being here! Matter-a-fact she and Daddy even delivered one of them when Brenda didn't make it in time:o)

My grandparents gave us this baby cradle when Chad was a tiny baby so whenever we have a new baby, it's kind of a "pre-baby ritual" to get the cradle ready again. So this was what Kaiti & I were doing:o)
