Kaiti's 7th birthday

Happy 7th Birthday, Kaiti!

Kaitriana Elizabeth--7 years old!
"No joys on earth bring greater pleasure
than a little girl to love and treasure."

Twirly Girl

Birthday present from Mommy & Daddy

Happy birthday and a blessed year, Kaiti dear!

With cousins Paris, Milana, and India and Baby Sister, Aliyah

We love you, Kaiti Girl!

Some guys have an interesting way of wearing party hats! LOL:o)

Birthday presents...
I made Kaiti's doll a matching dress with her & Aliyah's birthday dresses. So far I've made them a birthday dress every year but one, which was Kaiti's last year's dress---with a new baby, I just gave in and bought her a dress-up princess dress:o)

A girl is a girl so frilly & sweet,
You'd  just like to hug her the moment you meet.
She's little pink ruffles & flowers & lace;
She's an innocent look on a little pink face.
She's ice cream & candy & pink birthday cake;
She's also the cookies she helped Mommy bake.
She's the one playful sister to some little boy,
And she's Daddy's own sweetheart, his pride & his joy.
She can sing, she can dance, she can laugh, she can cry,
But still she's his pet, the apple of his eye.
She's kittens & everything cuddly & nice,
And sure she's a bit of God's own paradise.

You are the BEST, Honey Bun/Daddy!!!!

Grammie and Amie's birthday...
My baby sister was born on my Mom's 36th birthday--
What a gorgeous party in my parents back yard!

Fancy too! Check out the menu-- the food was delicious!
My favorite was the grilled eggplant goat cheese salad--
Oh my, was it good!

My dear Mom & Sis---
May you both be blessed with many more!
Love you ladies!

Wow, little cousin Tony is getting tall! Well, little cousin isn't so little anymore!:o)

With so many birthdays in a big family, who says you have to stick with cake? Around here you can choose your favorite dessert to celebrate...for Amie it was home-made donuts.

And for Grammie, apple dumplings!

Happy 17th birthday, Gracie!
We got to celebrate Grace's birthday with her--(a young friend from church)

Her parents hosted a BIG birthday party for her at their beautiful place--
their yard is like a park!

Grace & I both like to hear these guys, so they sang/played at her party...sorry I can't help that we're related!:o)

Also wow! She got to have Grandpa's Neighbors all the way from OK sing at her party-- What a treat! You should've seen Baby Zuriel helping with "This Little Light of Mine"--

Grace loves Kaiti like a little sister~

While they were here we had a little surprise birthday party for sweet Lydia, who's birthday was later that week. I think we kinda caught her off guard!:o)

Zuriel and Aliyah in their matching dresses, a gift to Aliyah from Zuriel's Auntie JoAnna:o)

How do you like Chad's color coordination? A bit feminine though, I'm afraid!:o)

Sweet friends!

Berry Blessings & Fundraisers

As you can see, I'm trying to get the blog caught up while the guys are gone to Haiti--One of my projects while they're gone:o) We were very blessed with lots of wonderful berries around here. The first time they picked on some conservation land near where we live---Aubrey, Ty, Damien & Kaiti went that time.

The question is, did they eat more than they brought home?:o) Actually I like for them to eat plenty of fresh, just picked anything...I see that as a building-their-health-up-during-the summer thing and a good way of "putting up" for the winter!:o) Makes sense, doesn't it?!

On the way home, they came across this "beauty" (Crocodile Hunter:o) And yes, my children will actually handle them...

Yikes! Even my little girl!!! That's my Kaiti for you!:o)

The boys and Ron singing in the park in town---I'm including this in fundraisers, because they so nicely donated the money they made doing it, to the music fest fund--Thanks so much, guys!

Our little people at the park

Great job, guys!

Jensy managed to find a stray balloon there:o)

Walking with Daddy

See, REAL men love cats!!!!!!!!:o)
Seriously, before I married mine, it was certainly in his favor that he was fine with cats--And it's a good thing with all the cats that grace our place:o)

My handsome trio dressed up for a friends wedding-

More berries, this time closer to home...

and more berries...

and more berries!
We were picking in the neighbor's pasture where we keep some of our livestock, so it was really nice except that it didn't take care of the bugs!

One of the fundraisers we did for the music fest...
Thanks so much to all of you who helped with that!

Damien by the bracelets that he helped make for the Homeschool Music Fest fundraisers

That same weekend we were privileged to have company from N.M. and PA. It was such a busy time that I hope they felt as welcome as we were glad to have them and were taken care of well enough! Was so nice having you, Matthew & Hannah and Maria! It was Matt & Hannah's wedding that we went to last Oct. in N.M. Chad was his best man and Aubrey a groomsman and I would've thought I had posted pictures of that, but I went and checked and I guess I was so busy after the baby was born, that it just didn't happen!
Oh well, the wedding happened though, and going on the trip and seeing dear friends again was a big blessing for our family!
O.k. I couldn't help but put in just one picture from their wedding:o) It was a beautiful N.M. day and such a sweet wedding!
God bless you Matthew & Hannah!

Matthew and Chad have been good friends since they were around five years old, and when they're together they're a lot of fun because you just never know what they'll come up with next! What do you think they were thinking/coming up with here to liven up a boring fundraiser...:o)

Hello Tyler! What in the world?!
Is he double-jointed at the hips or what?

Jason's turn!
Now you know...the rest of the story!:o)

I don't know what was being discussed here, but Chad seems to be enjoying it:o)

Just had to finish out this post with these cute pics of Aliyah~
